I have a fair bit of experience with the Magseal thing and whatever it does actually do compared to what its claimed it does, and my personal opinion is that - and its the same with Shimanos X-Protect system for me - I am going to treat a Magsealed or indeed X-Protect spinning reel exactly the same as I would a spinning reel that doesnt have these technologies in them
